Old Age Home
A compassionate residential facility dedicated to providing care, dignity, and emotional support to elderly individuals who are in need of a safe and nurturing environment. The home ensures proper healthcare, nutrition, and companionship for its residents. Under Social Justice Department.
Children's Home for Girls
A secure and caring space for children who require protection and support. The home focuses on their overall development by providing education, healthcare, emotional care, and a family-like atmosphere. Under Kerala State Women & Child Development Department.
Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre
This centre offers specialized care and rehabilitation for individuals facing mental health challenges. It focuses on recovery, social reintegration, and improving quality of life through structured therapies and support systems. Under Social Justice Department.
Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled
A dedicated facility for differently-abled individuals, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. The home provides personalized care, rehabilitation support, and opportunities for inclusive living. Under Social Justice Department.
Pain and Palliative Care
Recognized by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala, in March 2017, our Pain and Palliative Care unit is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for bedridden patients and those suffering from critical illnesses like cancer. Currently, we offer compassionate palliative care and support to around 200 patients under this government-approved initiative.
Suraksha Bhavan for HIV Patients
A supportive and stigma-free residential facility for individuals living with HIV. The centre ensures medical care, counseling, and a safe environment that promotes dignity and social inclusion. Under Social Justice Department.
Senior Citizen Home for Men & Women
A specialized residential home for elderly men & Women, offering a secure and comfortable living environment along with healthcare, emotional support, and community engagement. Under Social Justice Department.
District Shelter Home for Women
A government-supported initiative providing immediate shelter, protection, and rehabilitation for women facing crisis situations. The centre ensures safety, legal support, and counseling services. Under Kerala State Women & Child Development Department.
Vocational Training Centre
This centre empowers individuals by providing skill-based training programs that enhance employability and self-reliance. Various vocational courses are offered to support livelihood development.
Gandhibhavan International Special School
An inclusive educational institution designed for children with special needs. The school provides tailored learning programs, therapies, and support to help each child reach their full potential.
Kerala State Legal Services Authority (under High Court of Kerala)
In association with legal services, this unit provides legal awareness, guidance, and support to individuals, especially those from vulnerable sections of society.
SPC (Service Providing Centre)
A dedicated Service Providing Centre that offers free legal aid and support to individuals in need. We explicitly operate 4 SPCs across various districts in Kerala, ensuring access to justice by providing legal guidance, assistance, and awareness, especially for marginalized and vulnerable sections of society.
Sanmarga Training Centre
Functioning under the Motor Vehicles Department, this centre facilitates a unique reformative initiative where individuals who violate traffic rules are assigned to perform voluntary service at Gandhibhavan as a model corrective measure.
Gandhibhavan Library
The Gandhibhavan Library is a Library Council–recognized facility housing a collection of nearly one lakh books. It serves both residents and the general public, promoting reading habits, knowledge sharing, and intellectual development through accessible learning resources.
Women's Commission 'A' Grade Unit
A dedicated unit addressing issues related to women’s rights, protection, and empowerment. It offers support, counseling, and guidance for women in need.
Gandhibhavan Theatre India
A cultural wing that promotes theatre and performing arts. It provides a platform for artistic expression while addressing social issues through drama and performances.
IDTR Sub Centre
The Institute of Driver Training Research (IDTR) Sub Centre provides professional driver training programs focusing on road safety, skill development, and responsible driving practices. Under Motor Vehicle Department.
Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSIRC)
Implemented with the support of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, the Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSIRC) is a comprehensive welfare scheme aimed at ensuring shelter, care, protection, support, and psycho-social well-being for the elderly. Gandhibhavan has been actively rendering this essential service since 2019.
Disabilities Commission - Nodal Center
In 2026, Gandhibhavan was appointed as the Nodal Center for the State Rights Commission for Persons with Disabilities, aimed at ensuring social justice, protection, and rights for individuals with disabilities.
Vayosanthwanam Project
Implemented under the Government of Kerala, the 'Vayosan Thwanam' project is dedicated to the rehabilitation of bedridden elderly individuals by providing them with comprehensive care, secure accommodation, medical aid, and compassionate support.

Organic Farming
Bio-manure farming on campus and leased lands. Best Agricultural Group Award 2017.
Medicinal Plantation
300+ varieties including Sandalwood, Tulsi, Neem, Aloe Vera and Ashwagandha.
Mobile Medicare Unit
400 beneficiaries per month across Kollam district receive door-to-door medical care.
Art & Cultural Centre
Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy centre hosting traditional drama, music and folk dance.
WASH & Sanitation
STP plant, bio-gas, incinerator, medical waste management and soap production on campus.
Sneharajyam Magazine
Kerala's first philanthropic Malayalam magazine, running since 2007.
